Body Intelligence – the course helps you become the master of your own body and to manage your physical (or mental!) problem with self-enquiry through conscious movement.
The goals for this course are:
The goal is for you to become a researcher of your own body, so that you can become an expert on your own body, and on yourself!

Discover the magic of conscious movement
There’s a huge difference between doing exercises and doing exercises with the right focus. Movementality is about using movement exercises to deepen your self-awareness and self-knowledge. This course uses the movementality method to target back pain specifically.
Awareness is key!
- It is designed to target back pain specifically, but the practice is not limited to back pain.
- It is beginner friendly! The first module of this course serves to get you started on the journey to greater self awareness.
- The course and the movement practices it teaches does not require any particular physical strength or mobility.
- The lessons are designed to be done while sitting on a chair, or standing up. They do not require a lot of space and you don’t have to change into different clothes. You don’t even need a yoga mat.
- Its office friendly!
In module 1 your will learn:
- To practice self awareness by adopting a mindset of tuning into what the body feels like.
- Easy and short exercises will gradually develop your sense of self awareness so that you can apply it to your daily life.
- (Re)discovering of your breath
- The power of focusing on physical sensations for relaxation.
In module 2 you will learn:
- More about lower back pain
- Exercises to relieve lower back pain that can be done on a daily basis and added to any other training routine that you engage in.
- The relationship between lower back pain and your pelvis, your hips, and your hip flexors.
- How the state of your nervous system relates to lower back pain and muscular tension, and how to release muscles by reprogramming the nervous system..
In module 3 your will learn:
- More about pain and soreness in the neck, shoulders and upper back.
- To perform exercises that serves to release the neck, shoulders and upper back.
- About the shoulder blades and how they relate to pain and soreness in the upper back area.
- To move within an effortless range of motion in order to reprogram the nervous system to release muscular tension.
- To become even more aware of the subtle sensations in the body.
